Hi, if it causing a problem then You should remove the program, if it keeps prompting you, go to start, control panel, addremove programs, click on the skype click to call and remove, or you right click on the plug in on the right hand corner of the chrome window and uninstall it, do not dis able, as this may just be removed for a few minutes but it will be on your hard drive still if this doesn't work and it isn't removed. please re-install your chrome window. Im sure the problem would be rectified.

Hello Chaptereleven,

You may disable the Skype tool bar. Either using control panel to remove it from the system or using Google Chrome's option to disable it.

To remove it from the system, make your way into Control panel and remove it from the list of installed programs. Or to disable it using Chrome's options, Go to options, then go to 'Under the hood', next on to 'Content settings' and disable the individual plugins.

Another method which you can try is re-installing the Skype toolbar. You can use the Control panel again, for this step to take place.

Or you can search for troubleshooting tips at Skype's online technical center.

With this link you can search for more details.

Hope this would be helpful, Good luck!
