Hi Friends, I am using Mac OSX 10.5.8 in which Layout and Style builder is not getting launched in Sketchup 6 Style Builder for Mac, Please advise about how to overcome this issue. I tried re-installing the same, but is not working. Please help.
I think the reason for this is because of the version of your operating system. Google SketchUp 6 doesn’t support Mac OS X 10.5.8 or not even Mac OS X 10.3.9. Since you are running Mac OS X 10.5.8, the best compatible version for you is SketchUp 8 Free and or SketchUp Pro 8.
For SketchUp 8 Free, you can download it directly from SketchUp 8 Free Maintenance Release 5. This version works with Mac OS X 10.5 up to 10.8. If you want SketchUp Pro 8, visit the link above. Like the free version, this too supports Mac OS X versions 10.5 up to 10.8.
Please visit SketchUp Knowledge Center to download older releases like SketchUp Pro 6.4 and SketchUp Pro 7.1. For the latest version, SketchUp 2013, it currently supports Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, and Mac OS X 10.7 until 10.8 and higher. For Windows 2000, SketchUp 7 and later no longer supports it because it requires the User Interface standards that are not available in this platform.
For Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger and older, SketchUp 8 and later no longer supports it. For Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard and older, SketchUp 2013 and higher no longer supports it.
