Simultaneous player opens when mount and play dvd

I am playing and ISO DVD image with my media portal through mount and play DVD, the players simultaneously play the movie. In effect, the movie is played twice. What I did was I used an external player called VLC player, the movie is played in both the VLC player and Windows Media Player. How can I fix this problem?

Hi,

if your using windows 7 please follow these steps.

Start

on the search programs and files text box type in autoplay

 click on the "Start of stop using autoplay for all media and devices"

a window will be displayed showing the settings for autoplay

you will notice the DVD movie has play DVD using windows Media player

click the dropdown then select what you want the computer to do.
