Windows 7 is a “client” release which prioritizes for home and small use only, but windows 8 is a "server" release which includes extra networking services, managerial tools, higher and hardware support. Windows 8 is also use for recovery systems. Chess, hearts, solitaire are same for both operating systems. Thanks.
