Hi Jerin, Please carefuly.I have also faced this problem few years ago. So, I am writing the same that I was suggested then. Please do the following steps as I say and hope you can delete any folder or application. If this is an application, then it is easy. Pres Ctrl+Alt+Det at a time to open ‘Windows Task Manager.’

Click on the process tab and select your application. Right click on your application and select end process and a dialogue box will be opened. Select ok. Now close your application normally. In windows seven, this problem solution is much easier. Now, if this is a folder, then it is obvious that it is because of virus. Go to your safe mode window and delete the folder. If the folder still there, download a licensed antivirus program and scan thoroughly. Before scan, your antivirus program should be updated. Thank you

Hello Jerin,

You are getting this problem because you are trying to delete your document while it is still open or you are still editing it using another program. So for the delete process to be successful, you have first to close all the documents that you are editing that are related to the document that you want to close.

Otherwise, if the problem does not stop even after you close all the open documents, you will have to go to the task bar and close any applications that are related to the documents that are running under the processes tab. close them completely. This should help you fix the problem.
