My company is looking at expanding to 6 employees, and where thinking of using sharepoint ticket tracker for all employees throughout the company. I'm looking for a simple to install Issue Ticketing system to improve record keeping and the efficiency of the company. Would this software be suitable?

Hi, Generally sharepoint is not the preferred tool for ticketing system inside a company. Actually Microsoft has put out a help-desk Template based on sharepoint programming for ticketing system. This needs administrator privileges on sharepoint server to install. The application features dashboards, information for customer service people, team members and includes performance history.
There are many free open source ticketing management systems, one of them is OTRS. Open source Ticket Request System i.e OTRS, has many features to manage customer requestes, Team member tickets and emails.
