Setup Selfextract error during the install of Avast Antivirus

Hi experts,

During the install of Avast Antivirus this error appeared. I have a good installer and I tried to install it from different sources and the same error appears. I don’t know how to fix this and why is not working. Does anyone experienced this kind of error before ? What is the solution ?

Hello, 

This issue could arises if the uninstall of the last version was not proper or the installation was corrupt.

Try downloading the uninstall utility of avast from Uninistall-Avast. Now start the windows in Safe mode and run the utilty download from avast. After that reboot the system and now you are ready to install avast.

Still if you are facing the same issue, install avast from other different source with different download manager.
