Hi!

I am planning to use Unix in my system. Can you show me how to do this? What are the things that I need to remember before doing this? Please give me step-by-step instructions on how to do this? Can I just download the platform from the internet? What are the drivers and other software I need to install before jumping in upgrading my system to Unix? What are the best features of Unix? Does it support my old peripherals or my Android Phone?

Thank you!

Hello,

The unix is set in Windows 8 by using these techniques The virtual machines are run on windows 8 operating system on our desktop.

So we can install the VMware player, Free VirtualBox and download ISO file for unix distribution such as Ubuntu software. The Linux distribution inside virtual machine would install on a standard computer.

We no need rebooting or leaving behind the all programs. We need everything but demanding games and advanced 3d effects just fine. We will not use those anyway.

If we want to installing Ubuntu in virtual machine we need Ubuntu derivative instead of Xubuntu. Xubuntu uses Xfce, which is much more lightweight.
