If you say you have your own antivirus which is ESET and that message is not from your antivirus, which mentions a different security software called Intrusion Detection System or IDS, then it is more likely that your computer is infected by a malware. Click Cancel on the dialog box then update your antivirus. Next, scan your entire hard drive for possible virus infection.

Just in case you did not find any infection in the scan, you probably want to check the System Volume Information folder located on the root of the drive. If you have drive C and drive D, you can find the System Volume Information folder on each drive. To scan this folder, open Windows Explorer then click Tools and then Folder Options. See image.

Select View tab then scroll down. Select “Show hidden files and folders” and uncheck “Hide protected operating system files”. When you are prompted, click Yes and then click OK. See image.

Go to the root of drive C. Right-click System Volume Information folder, point to your antivirus then select Scan. See image.

Repeat this on your other drives if you have several drives. Most common viruses tend to infect and hide in this folder and the bad news is, this folder, most of the time, is excluded from real-time protection of the antivirus. That’s why this folder needs to be checked manually sometimes.

Hello,

Trojan is one of the worst types of malwares all over the world. It can infect any important data or EXE files in your system and cause a crash.

It is not worthy to use any unfamiliar antivirus softwares like you said. It might be working but you should use any trusted antivirus program that is worldwide familiar and powerful enough.

I recommend you use Norton. It is quite a good software. There are other good antiviruses too, for instance, Kaspersky, Avast, Bit Defender etc. All of them are good, trusty and powerful to protect you.

After you’ve installed it on your system, you should give an update of their database to get all protection definitions. Then, scan your PC and it should go fine by removing the risks from your system.
