Hi guys
I have recently surfed the internet thoroughly for SEB (safe exam browser). I found a website and read about it. I have now downloaded the latest version of SEB. After downloading it successfully, when I try to install it, it ended up in an error message. The screenshot of the error is attached below:
SEB Window 1.8.2
Error 1001. An exception occurred during the Commit phase of the installation. This
exception will be ignored and installation will continue.. However, the application might not
function correctly after installation is complete. --> Could not find a part of the path
‘C\Documents and Settings\All Users\Desktop\SEB\Windows 1.8.3.url’.

I need your help. I tried but couldn’t solve the query.

Try to do this way. Maximum chance is that first time installation should work. If it doesn't work then you need to do this way.
1. Open Run
2. Enter regedit
3. Open Registry Editor
4. Search for SEBWINDOWS values
5. Remove all those entries
6. Restart the system
Try installing the seb again it should work now. Most of the installations fail because of error 1001 which can be solved this way. Try doing this and let us know whether it worked or not. If it doesn't work then we can do one more thing which i will tell you if it doesn't work.
