I don't know how to begin scripting in Baan. I'm just wondering what utility I should use to write. Is Baan for notepad any good? Once I'm done scripting, where can I run the script to view the result? Thanks in advance.

BaaN is a scripting language. BaaN scripts can also be performed with the help of BaaN Tools as well as notepad. If you are familiar with Notepad++, Ultraedit, or another editor then it will allow you to write a script into editor.
Secondly, You should have developers access and VRC access to run the script or view the result of a script.
