This error appears when a certain web page that you access stops responding. Internet explorer uses too much system resources so avoid opening too many applications when using Internet Explorer because this error sometimes is due to delayed response of a web browser to the page that it tries to open. To get rid of this script error do the following solutions, this is in order.

Open the command prompt, click Start> and type CMD on run or on search field. Type this command line “Regsvr32 urlmon.dll” and press enter.

If still the error occurs, go to Menu, select Tools and click “Internet Options” click the advanced tab, under browsing check the “Disable script debugging (Internet Explorer) and “Disable script debugging (Other)  and “Enable third-party browser extensions” restart Internet Explorer.

If you have not installed Java virtual machine, then download it and install. If already on your computer then reinstall the plug-in.

Vivian,

This type of error occurs when there is a problem with the Javascript or VBscript of the web page you are downloading. To resolve this issue you can turn off script debugging and notifications in your Internet Explorer browser. These are the steps –

1. Open Internet Explorer. Click Start > Internet Explorer.

2. Click Tools > Internet Options.

3. Click Advanced tab button.

4. Under the Advanced tab, select Disable script debugging (Internet Explorer ) and Disable Script Debugging (Others).

5. Clear the Display a notification of every script error check box.

6. Click Ok.

After doing these, your problem will be solved.

You can also Remove all Temporary files from your internet explorer. Update your internet explorer.
