Script Error on CA Internet Security Suite Plus

I have CA Internet Security Suite 2010 installed on my Windows 7 PC. My problem started when CA Internet Security Suite appeared on my screen as shown below:

The four categories are grayed out and appeared blank. I installed these four during the installation. So I hit the Fix Now button on the upper right corner of the CA window and get this:

Everything is blank and even if I hit the Fix Now button repeatedly, the same message box will appear. And also, I am receiving some script error when trying to customize some settings in CA.

I am lost right now and I don’t know which steps is the best to follow as I’ve read in some forums for similar problems such this one. If anyone here who has the same issue and recovered from it, please help me. Thanks.

Error:

Script Error on CA Internet Security Suite Plus

Hello William,

The error you attached occurs due to the conflict between CA Internet Security Suite Plus and Internet Explorer 9 (IE9). There are couple of ways to fix the issue. To fix the error please follow the steps below:

1- The first and the simplest way to remove the error is to go back to your Internet Explorer 8 after un-installing Internet Explorer 9 completely and then re-install CA Internet Security. This will fix the issue.

2- Another way to fix the problem is: disable your CA toolbar with that you should start using Website Inspector upgrade. This will also fix the issue you are having.

Thanks
