Hello

Recently I am reloading Windows XP and I find an error when I want to use InterVideo WinDVD as well as running a few arcade style games.

When I want to close the application, the following message is displayed:

"Screen resolutions should be at least 800x600 to use Date Card software."

This needs me to press OK.

Also my display resolution is place at 1440x900, but I don’t know why this message occurred.

Need some suggestions.

Thanks.

Hello Elsietbrown!

The reason why this message displays whenever you run InterVideo WinDVD is it cannot handle wide screen resolutions. It also affects the performance of the application.

This is a problem to the application. Just be sure that you have enough or higher graphics card and memory to run this application.

So every time you run this application, you need to adjust your screen resolution.

Hello Dear,

I think this is the problem with compatibility settings.

Please follow the steps:

1. Right click on the program and then go to properties

2. Now go to the compatibility tab

3. Run compatibility troubleshooter

4. See it works or not

5. If not working, then again go to properties>Compatibility

6. In settings option, you need to select Disable Display scaling on high DPI setting

7. Now select Run this program as an administrator

8. Click on Change setting for all users

9. Apply this setting

Hope this problem will not bother you.

Thanks for having your time
