I just bought a Hp printer deskjet 2545 and it has a scanner on board. I am currently on windows 8 pro and the disk provided for drivers is not responding well to installation. I tried to look online, but I did not find any user software. I have to scan images for my work. Can anyone help me with this matter?

Hello,

HP’s website has a download available for your All-In-One device.  The link is below.

The download has everything you need to install and use your device.

That’s probably because the driver for your HP printer does not support Microsoft Windows 8 and if that’s the case, you cannot install the printer on your computer. After a little digging, it seems your HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 2545 All-in-One Printer supports Microsoft Windows 8 after all.

If the drivers on the disc that came with your printer don’t support your operating system, you just have to download the drivers from the HP website. Visit HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 2545 All-in-One Printer to download the drivers. Under “Operating system,” select “Windows” from the dropdown list.

Under “Version,” select one of the versions of Windows 8 according to your operating system (Windows 8 (32-bit), Windows 8 (64-bit), Windows 8.1 (32-bit), or Windows 8.1 (64-bit)) then click “Change” to display the available drivers. Just download the drivers and install them on your computer and that should make the printer working.
