I am using sandbox to make a payment for a website. I am using website payment standard. I have tried all possible values of Rome.

But not getting a transaction ID after payment.

Hi Aradhanas,

Sandbox is a form of a personal account that acts your customers' account. Like for example you are buying an item and the one that transact with the PayPal is your account in the sandbox. But the problem is you didn't get your transaction Id even if the payment has already been done.
 
I have been really important in every business transaction to have a transaction Id because it served as your receipt and without this you won't have the supporting evidence or documents that payment has been done already. So to solve your problem you have to carefully follow the instructions:
  1. Log in to Sandbox.
  2. Do not confuse in logging in to the sandbox PayPal website because you will not set or edit your profile.

3. To set your payment in data transfer:

  • Go to your account and then enter the profile sub tab.
  • Then select a payment preference website from the list of the link of selling preference.
  • Then you have to set the Auto return ON.
  • The supply the Autoreturn with the URL of PayPal Page so that PayPal data will return.
  • Then you also have to set On the Transfer of Payment Data.
  • You also have to scroll down to the end page and then enter SAVE.
