Hello Sheri,

The Samsung SD card should work on any phone without bringing an issue, especially if it another Samsung phone. Therefore it is able to work well on one Samsung Galaxy Tab but it cannot work well on another, the possible cause of the problem could the following:

  • The slot where the SD card is plugged in the phone is corrupt, and therefore it cannot be able to read the data on the SD card. To verify that, you can take another SD card that working just fine and try plugging it into the phone and see the response. In the event that it does not work, then you can be sure that it is the slot that has issues.
  • You will therefore need to replace the SD card if the above case happens to be true.

Regards,

Carl

Dear User,

The SD card does work in the tab,

First try a different SD card. If that card works you can see that the problem is with your SD card. So either you can format it using another device or simply claim your warranty if you have any,

But also the problem still exists even if you use another working SD card. Then we can see that the problem is with your Samsung Device.

The simplest solution is to claim your warranty.

Thank you
