Hello Andrew,

In order to establish a Bluetooth connection between your PC or a laptop, you have to have a Bluetooth device (module) installed in your PC or laptop. Now usually laptops have Bluetooth module installed, whereas PC not always.

To connect your Samsung Galaxy S2, you need to turn ON Bluetooth in your computer or laptop. Once you turned it ON, please turn ON Bluetooth in your SGS2 smartphone. Either your PC or laptop or even SGS2 should find a Bluetooth connection once you turned it ON on both sides. Just select that connection it should connect between your PC or laptop and SGS2.

 Good luck to you.

I find the best way to transfer date of your galaxy is with the micro usb cable. It is much faster and more reliable. As another alternative to bluetooth, you can use Samsung Allshare Play to transfer your data back and forth from PC to your android. This also is a more reliable solution.
