I think I just fried my Samsung Galaxy as it won't power on. I called the Samsung hotline and they said that they think the motherboard could be the culprit. They asked me about the model number so they could check if they have the part in stock. Where can I find Samsung Galaxy S model number for my motherboard?

1.      You can access the motherboard by the following few steps
2.      Remove the back cover , the battery and the SIM card if any
3.      Remove the screws using a small Philips screw driver (7 screws)
4.      Use the safe open pry tool to loosen the rear housing and remove it
5.      Open the five clip connectors securing the motherboard with utmost keenness and remove the motherboard
6.      Turn the motherboard and on its rear side you will find its model number written there
