Samsung just recently launched its newest smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S III. Its launch was quite controversial in the U.S. seeing that Apple originally made efforts in putting a stop to its U.S. release.
How does the Galaxy S III compare to an Apple iPhone in terms of price, durability, and usage?
By looking at the appearance for these two phones, we can clearly see its differences. Shape and design differ from each other. Samsung Galaxy S III is quite bigger than iphone 4s. In terms of their display, iphone 4s is better in color and contrast than Samsung Galaxy III.
Maybe this is because Samsung Galaxy III has a wider and bigger screen. The big screen of Galaxy III makes it pleasurable to view multimedia compared to iphone 4s.
Actually, both have high resolution display. The advantages of Galaxy III are: it has a fast mobile data support for up to 4G, very fast processor and lots of RAM while the iphone 4s   has lesser microSD slot for storage and it you need to use its own USB connector instead of using a standard micro USB. 
The Samsung Galaxy S3 is a discontinued 3G Smartphone operating on 2G and 3G network bands using GSM and HSPA technologies. It was unveiled to the public and released on May 2012 measuring 136.6 x 70.6 x 8.6 millimeters and weighing 133 grams. It was built with a plastic body and uses micro-SIM card.
It has Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display with 16M colors at 720 x 1280 pixels screen resolution. It supports multi-touch protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 2 with TouchWiz UI. It supports microSD expandable up to 64 GB.
It runs on 1 GB RAM with internal storage available in 16 GB, 32 GB, and 64 GB capacities. The primary camera supports 8 megapixels (f/2.6, 1/3″) with LED flash and autofocus featuring geo-tagging, touch focus, and face and smile detection and supports 1080p video recording at 30 fps. The secondary camera supports 1.9 megapixels (f/2.6) and 720p video recording at 30 fps.
It has 3.5-millimeter jack featuring active noise cancellation with dedicated mic; Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n with dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, and hotspot support; Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP, EDR, and aptX support; GPS with A-GPS and GLONASS support; NFC; stereo FM radio with RDS support; and microUSB 2.0 (MHL TV-out) with USB host support. It has built-in accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, and barometer sensors.
The pre-installed web browser supports HTML with Adobe Flash support. It runs on removable Li-Ion 2100 mAh battery with standby time up to 590 hours on 2G and 790 hours on 3G. Talk time is up to 21 hours 40 minutes on 2G and 11 hours 40 minutes on 3G.
It is available in pebble blue, marble white, amber brown, garnet red, sapphire black, titanium grey, and la fleur colors.
