I think this is only an ordinary power problem on the Smartphone or maybe the device is having a hard time establishing a connection to the network. After cleaning the whole surface of the SIM card that directly contacts to the phone, turn off your handset again and then detach its battery. Insert the SIM card and then re-attach the battery.
