Currently I'm become addict with twitter, I've twitted a lot. At first, I used twitter via web but now I'm using twitter client such as tweetdeck, echofon, etc. My question is, is it safe using twitter client?
Because I've heard rumors that our privacy is not safe.
Most of the Twitter clients, such as the one you are using, Tweetdeck, are compatible in different operating system.
But some of  your personal  information that you provided on twitter are showed publicly. So when you are using Twitter clients you are  instantly allowing them to transfer your information , including your name, email, biography, pictures, location, and even mobile phone number with the entire world where Twitter functions. It is much safer for your privacy if you restrict the information you provided in your twitter account.
I suggest that you customize your account settings to make some of your personal information private, by going to twitter account settings.Â
