Hello,

My computer is a Mac with OS X 10.7.3 (11d50). Over the last few weeks whenever I used Safari it would shut down with an error message concerning file .RedHandProWith.png. I decided run a scan my Norton Internet Security for Mac as I thought the file could be malware. As a result of the scan, Norton Internet Security quarantined .RedHandProWith.xsl and .RedHandProWith.png. This has also meant that I am now unable to use the program as whenever I open Safari I receive a message that says "safari cannot be opened because of a problem Application Specific Information: Dyld: launch, loading dependent libraries Dyld Error Message: Could not load inserted library: /Applications/Safari.app/Contents/Resources/.RedHandProWith.xsl Safari version 5.1.5 (7534.55.3).

Using Norton Internet Security, I have attempted to repair and restore the file but to no avail.

Can someone help me with this problem?

Thank you for your help?

You system was infected by malware, and it is called Flashback. It is malicious software that installs itself on Macs. So the apple released solutions for this one. They released software updates for OS X Lion and Mac OS X v10.6 the will fix and remove Flashback malware if it is on your system.

So the solution for this is to download that update. To run updates, go to Apple menu and then select Software Update. You might also need to know about OpenDNS that will prevent malware from spreading. Don’t worry it is free and offers other features. Get rid of Norton to from your computer.
