I'll start by saying that I had my S4 Cat-A for about 6 months now. About halfway through April began to experience this problem. There was no animations between minimizing and opening apps. I fixed this by enabling developer options to find that "transition animation scale" had for some reason disabled itself. At first I didn't think much of it. But about two weeks later it disabled itself again. I then re-enabled it again thinking that if it was a persistent issue it wouldn't be the end of the world to keep sorting re- enabling this option. So would like to know what kind of issue is this ?
S4 no animations between minimizing apps
I guess there’s nothing you can do about it. It is a bug in Samsung Galaxy S4. Though it is not a universal issue, there are more people experiencing it than those who are not. In other users, the Transition Animation Scale automatically resets after opening the phone’s camera. There is no use saving the option because it will still reset after a while.
Updating the phone’s firmware also doesn’t do any good. The issue with the phone will not change and will still keep on resetting. I guess this is a bug after the user enabled the Developer Options. Actually, the options available in Developer Options can be used to further speed up the handset.
