S Memo not saving the edited content

I am using samsung Galaxy 4. Since a month, I have noticed that S Memo app is not working properly. Once I open a memo and edit and save, then open again I notice that all the edited part have gone and the memo is saved in its previous state. Why is this happening? What can be done to solve this problem? Please help, I have to type again and again the same thing.

This problem occurs because the default note taking app of Samsung Galaxy 4, S Memo, has trouble with backing up notes. When a date is set for a note which is then saved and later reopened, S Memo will revert it to state in which it was on that date. Try to fix this by disabling "Automatic date and time" in your phone's settings menu. If that does not help, download any of the alternative note taking apps for your phone, such as: Google Keep or Evernote.
