There are times that your Babylon Toolbar may experience errors or changes and that is the reason why it suddenly stopped working. It may be caused by a recent update you installed on your pc or a virus/malware that has affected your browser. Whichever the cause is, you have to repair the toolbar so it will stop popping out annoying error message on your window. One thing that you can do is to uninstall and re-install the toolbar. Remove it from your browser and re-install it back. After that, run a complete scan of your trusted anti-virus or anti-spyware program to make sure that there is no harmful threat on your pc. Lastly, if the error occurs again after doing this routine, I suggest you completely un-install the Babylon toolbar and find something else.

If the error appeared on your browser and you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer, try resetting the settings. Click “Start,” “Control Panel,” “Network and Internet Connections” then “Internet Options.” In “Internet Properties” window, go to “Advanced” tab then click “Reset” at the bottom under “Reset Internet Explorer settings.” On the next screen, click “Reset.” Try also using other browsers or update your browser.

Download the latest version:

  • Opera – the latest version includes a built-in ad blocker unlike with previous versions. The latest version at the moment supports Windows 7, Windows 8.x, and Windows 10. Windows XP and Windows Vista are no longer supported.
  • Mozilla Firefox – the latest version at the moment supports Windows 7, Windows 8.x, and Windows 10. Firefox dropped support for Windows XP and Windows Vista.
  • Google Chrome – this downloads the standalone installer. The latest version at the moment supports Windows 7, Windows 8.x, and Windows 10. Google dropped support for Windows XP and Windows Vista.
  • SeaMonkey
  • Microsoft Edge – this downloads the web installer. I tried searching for an offline installer that downloads the latest but there is none. All available standalone installers on the internet point to a slightly older version. The new Microsoft Edge supports Windows 7, Windows 8.x, and Windows 10. It is also available for macOS, iOS, and Android.
