Please do the needful for supporting me by providing me a solution on how to solve the runtime error 217 Multi Virus Cleaner 2011.
I am using Windows XP.
Waiting to get an expert advice in this regard.

The ‘Runtime error 217’ can occur if there are missing DLL files, registry files or due to virus infections.
To resolve this error:
1) The ‘msvcrt.dll’ file is often damaged or has older versions. To update the file you need to update windows as Click ‘Start’ > Control Panel > Windows Update
2) Correct the Regional Settings of the PC. To achieve so follow the steps as
  a) Click ‘Start’, Select ‘Control Panel’
  b) Select ‘Clock’, ‘Region’, ‘Language’
3) Download the StDole32.TLB from Internet
  a) Unzip the file
  b) Place the file in C:WindowsSystem32
4) Clean the Registry as it can create the error
