I have Dell laptop and having problem with my web cam, it will not work smoothly on windows 7, I tried many settings, but no good. Anybody help me running my dell camera smoothly. Any kind of help would be appreciated.

If you own a Dell laptop then you just have to know the product's Service Code for solving such poblems. It appears to be a driver issue probably. Look underneath your laptop for a thin white strip of numbers with a barcode and a 5-digit/7-digit alphanumeric (alphabets + digits) code. This will be your dell's express service code.
Please go to the following link: http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/products/?app=drivers and type in your code.
This will automatically find out a list of ALL drivers for your laptop model. Just pick the webcam Driver and download it and install it.
Updated driver will solve the lack of smoothness.
