I uninstalled a program and after I reboot my PC this RunDLL error appeared. This error appears every time I open my PC. After some searches on the Internet I didn’t find anything. I would like to know if I install the program again this error will disappear. How can I fix?

Thank you!

Hello,

There are various reasons that a DLL file might malfunction. In order to fix this issue, follow these steps:

1. Start Run by pressing “ Windows key + R ”.

2. Type and enter the following line:
iexplore.exe -extoff

3. Check if the problem still persists.

If so, try to find out the problematic extension and remove or disable that.

Another option might occur that the DLL file is corrupted for virus or other malwares. Use any good adware removal, for instance, Norton Power Eraser. Note that it requires internet connection for this purpose. Download the “NPE.exe”, double-click to run it and then start scanning. It might require restarting your PC. If required, restart your PC.

Now your issue will go away for sure.
