If I ran Dell local backup will it be the same in normal mode? I mean are all of my data be truly backed up? For some reasons backup is not properly working in normal mode.

The wizard won't just finish.

Hey Adams Baker,

You want a complete backup of your computer’s data, so you must have to run the backup tool outside your computer and connect your hard drive to get it backed up completely. If you don’t want to back up the area where OS is stored usually (C Drive), you should be able to backup your other drives (D E F etc) through normal way (through windows backup tool) because this wouldn’t need to interrupt your OS which is saved on C drive.

You can also backup your data via startup recovery setup that comes up before windows 7 Logo. That tool works perfect in backing up the whole data saved on the disk.

Thanks.

Hi Baker,

Please do as I say to run your dell laptop in safe mode.

1. At first restart or boot up your dell laptop.

2. When the logo of dell appears on screen please press rapidly F8 button from keyboard.

3. Go to windows advanced option and select safe mode by using arrow keys.

4. Now, click enters and run your laptop in safe mode.

Thanks.
