I get the following error message “Run Configuration Failure” on my college laptop whenever I tried to open up a PowerPoint presentation.
It won´t allow me to uninstall it either, a few of my friends have had similar issues but haven´t been able to fix it. What should I do? Thanks
“Run Configuration Failure”: What is the Meaning?
It could be because of some missing files, corrupted configuration files or modified configuration files.
Try to download and install Microsoft Silverlight, click Get Silverlight | Microsoft Silverlight
If it still doesn't fix the problem. Try to uninstall your MS Office and Click-to-Run using Reno Uninstaller, it will just remove some registry items not the applications/program itself. After that, try to open your MS Word or any Office Application and then look for the Help tab, under that tab look for "Detect and Repair". It would ask for your MS Office installation disk, insert the disk and wait until it finish configuring and then restart your computer/laptop.
