RPT Network Printer Port, having trouble in communicating

There is a customer having problem in printing. It gives the error popping up, “RPT Network Printer Port, having trouble in communicating.“  Something to that effect.

Is there any suggestions?

Hi,
 
Try reinstalling port using instructions given below,
 
Download zip file, extract it and run setup and install the RPT network print port.
 
Now register carefully since it is the most essential part!
 
 
Click the Start button, then click "Printers and Faxes". 
 
Now right click on the printer icon in the "Printers and Faxes window". 
 
Select Properties in the pop-up menu.
 
The Printer Properties is displayed. 
 
Select the Ports tab and click on the "Add Port" button".
 
The Printer ports dialog box appears. 
 
Select "RPT Network Printer Port" from the "Available port types", and click on the "New Port" button.
 
The RPT Network Printer Port Wizard appears
 
Select "Print using Raw Mode", and click on the next button.
 
Input IP address or Host Name (Example : 133.185.254.114), and click on the Next button. 
 
Check name or change name of "Destination print port name", and click on the Next button. 
 
Select "Print using Raw Mode", and click on the Ne
 
Click on the Search… button, and it can also input IP address by searching.  
 
Click on the Finish button.
