Recently, I tried installing Rosetta Stone Version 3 which is a language learning software into my computer.

However, the installation failed repeatedly, and I got an error every time while trying to enter the setup process.

The error message is as follows:

Rosetta Stone Version 3 Setup

There is a problem with this Windows installer package.

A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor.

Rosetta Stone Version 3 Setup

Would anyone be kind enough to tell me what I need to do to eliminate this error?

I would be most grateful to the person who happens to know the solution to this because I really need to access this software.

I would anxiously await your replies.

Thank you in anticipation.

Hi

I will help you to install Rosetta Stone software. It is showing error due to corrupted installer.

Try using a new installer by downloading the software again.

It will certainly be installed in your computer.

Try installing in a different computer also.

If working there, then your computer has problems.

Good day!

As I've read your problem, The reasons that this error occurs when you install Rosetta is because :

A. The file is corrupted, either the download was been interrupted even if was not finished.
B. Virus or malware prevents you to install this software so I advice to perform a full scan.
C. Download again the software from where you have downloaded it, because I have a strong feeling that it is not yet finished.

Hope I have helped you!

Take care!

Hi,

You can check first if the installer is downloaded completely.

If it doesn't work, try checking your windows firewall. Make sure its running properly and check all the services you think might be related to your firewall.

like Base Filtering Engine, which might actually causing the problem.

And if all else fails, try checking the compatibility of your downloaded installer.

Hope this helps.
