Right decision in buying PC

Hello Abraham Adams,

I do not perfectly understand what your question, but I assume that you are referring to the things you must consider when buying personal computer. You mentioned about a flat screen so it should mean you are planning to buy a whole set such as the CPU, monitor, keyboard, mouse, and other peripherals that will suit your needs. Well, just disregard the other things, and lets focus more on your CPU since it is the most important part of a whole personal computer. Actually, the most expensive part of the computer should be the CPU not the LCD, LED, or Flat-CRT monitors or the so called flat screen as you stated. Anyway, the budget of a laptop depends upon your use. If you are planning to use it for gaming and other heavy applications; then you will be buying a much more expensive CPU; however, if you are planning to use it for simple applications; then it will be much less expensive than the other one. There are a lot of parts you need to consider when buying the right CPU.

These are:

1. Microprocessor e.g. (Core i7, AMD Phenom II)

2. Motherboard

3. RAM

4. Hard Drive

5. GPU or Video Card

6. Optional: DVD Drive

Actually, it does not mean you need to buy an expensive computer because of heavy application. You just need to know the right one to buy, and I'm pretty sure it won't be that much expensive especially when you are the one building it. Just Google for the parts, and you should be able to find the right one for you.

Hope this helps!
