Reversing Facebook connect integration for joomla without fully disconnecting it

I am trying to build my own website and I tried facebook connect integration for joomla to minimize the hassles. A problem occurred though, 2 days ago. My facebook profile was, in a way accessed illegally or a virus has infiltrated it and I think it might be connected to my Joomla platform. It kept on posting a specific path on walls of my friends and I’m not happy with it. Is there any way I could reverse this without re-integrating the Joomla platform to my Facebook account? Can I make use of an antispam software for this? Please, I would really appreciate your help.

Hello,

In order to reverse the facebook connect integration, you need to identify the point and position where you did the integration. If you used an automatic integration from a download, go to the internet and search on tools to undo the integration. You can also search where the integration code is and delete the code. After deletion, you can create a link to your account via the simple html links. An example of a link can be as shown below:

Thank you.

Hi there Ashley.bila,

I'm sorry to hear about your troubles. However, they have nothing to do with your Joomla website. it's common thing that Facebook users acidentaly install malicious Facebook apps in their profiles and those apps are mostly the ones that are causing the problems.

To remove your problem, you should check your Facebook settings, remove any suspicious Facebook apps from your profile and adjust your security settings.

Best regards,
Drake Vivian
