Retrospect 7 5 problem after changing windows XP to windows 7

Our computers were running on Windows XP and we use Retrospect 7. 5.

Recently we have changed the operating system to Windows 7 on some computers. When we tried to run the backup we got some files and folder those really was not. Someone says it’s the compatibility issue with Windows 7. What do you suggest me?

Hello Alland Ornad,

Your problem is with the compatibility. Sometimes, Windows XP applications are not supported in Windows 7, because they develop a different version of the application for Windows 7.

You must download the Retrospect application for Windows 7, but there is not any Retrospect software for Windows 7.

It is only supported in Windows XP and Windows Vista.

The latest Retrospect version is 7.7.
