Retrieving files from a corrupted dvd using disc copy software

I have a DVD containing files from my office and wanted to add some more documents to it. I was using Nero express to add files to the DVD. During the burning process, a power interruption had occurred and the process was terminated. When I try to open the disk again, my laptop can no longer read the disk. The DVD contains other important files. Was my DVD corrupted? Is it possible that I can retrieve my documents using a disk copy software?

Hi,

There is a solution but it is not guaranteed 100% .You will have to use a  free software called  :

CD Recovery Toolbox and you can download it :

https://www.oemailrecovery.com/downloads/CDRecoveryToolboxFreeSetup.exe

You can easily operate it due to step by step wizard. It scans for all files and folders inside CD/DVD/Blu-Ray that can be recovered also keep in mind if your disc has some scratches then you may not get all files back but something is better than nothing.

Hello Owen,

It can really be frustrating to learn that important files will never be accessible because of reasons such as a power outage.

However, the good news is, there are a lot of downloadable software available that can help you retrieve the corrupted files, whether it may be a Word Document, Excel File, Audio and Video.

You can easily choose among SOFTEZA Max Data Recovery 1.9,

RECOVER DISC 2.0

Hope this answers your concern.
