Can I still retrieve all my documents that were lost upon syncing them with iCloud on my iPad and iPhone? I don’t understand coz when I synched the said documents last night, everything works perfectly, but when I’m about to access these documents by launching pages on the iPad, my documents appeared for a while and for some reasons, they disappeared. Same thing happens with my iPhone. These were my class documents that are very important to me. I guess this a bug in iCloud. I badly need to recover these important documents. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

When syncing files them from iCloud on iPhone and iPad, some files may be lost during the initial process of uploading. It may disappeared when opening the files but you think it's there because you can see the file but it just won't display.

The good thing about this is that there is a way to retrieve the files whenever it lost when switching to iCloud.

You need to download the app called iPhone/iPad Touch back-up Extractor in this website: supercrazyawesome.com

You'll need to ran the app and click "Read Backups"

Choose the back-up that you want to restore files and click the choose button.

Look for app, files you are trying to extract from because this will work in any app, it'll look like com.apple.numbers. Highlight this and click to extract files.

Locate that extracted files using the Finder features. Right click and select the "Show Package Contents" Start finding the documents and you should be able to locate this file.

Send this files back to the iCloud, log-in to icloud.com and choose iWork. At the top right corner, look for gear icon and Upload Document. Pick and drag the file and upload them to your icloud accounts.
