Hi. The steps to replace the ink for HP Officejet 6000 require you to first open the access door of the cartridge. Next, to continue, wait for the cartridge to become silent and idle first. Then, the tab on the front of the cartridge needs to be pressed to pull it out so that it can be removed from its slot. Next, pull the orange pull-up to remove the plastic wrap. Then, take the orange cap off the cartridge by twisting it. Slide the cartridge into the correct slot when the contacts face the printhead. The colour code indicates the correct slot. Then, keep pressing the cartridge down so that it falls into place. Then, close the access door of the printer and wait for it to move to the right-side of the printer. The steps to align the printer require you to first load paper into the printer and then press the power button and hold it on the control panel of the product.

Next, press the button called resume thrice following which the power button can be released. Then, the alignment page will be printed after which it can be either recycled or discarded.

Hope we helped.
