Hello Elisej,

I read your query on the above and its true there is a way to remove a specific folder from the Lotus which I will illustrate here:

  • Ensure you  are in the current view/Lotus Emails view
  • Select the name of the folder you want to delete
  • From the menu bar, Select the Actions Menu and from the drop down list select Remove Folders.
  • A pop up window pops up asking you to confirm the deletion of the folder. Click on the Yes button and give it time to delete the folder as the said folder may contain huge chunks of information

Hi Elisej,

I will show you some illustrations on how you will be able to delete some messages in
all Documents folder.

You must understand first the difference between the folder and a view.

They differ in a way of showing which documents to display.
You can VIEW all the document in whatever formula you want to see the document.

If you want to delete a document in a folder, you remove it from the folder and not by deleting the
whole folder itself.

Lotus will warn you when you are trying to delete some messages and you have to view it according
to sent view to help you decrease the mistakes for deleting your files accidentally.

This illustrations will help you fully understand the instructions.

Hope this might help you.

Thanks,

Jennifer08 you are a lifesaver.

Thank you very much.

Without the pictures, it will be very hard to follow your instructions since I'm not really familiar.

Thanks.
