Whenever I click the button “check for updates”, it can’t show any window update until I get a fault message “error message windows update cannot currently check for updates” because your service is not running and you need to restart your computer.

There are some steps which help to remove bug,

  1. Use Microsoft Fix It Utility to solve, download Microsoft Fix to your computer.
  2. After download runs the Microsoft Fix and presses “Accept.”

  4. Go to the troubleshooter problem to fix window update and press “next.”
  5. If your troubleshooter problem fixes then check window update again.
