Remote software for computer control Nikon DSLR Cameras?

I recently updated my Windows 7 and since then Nikontrol for computer control Nikon DSLR Cameras is not working properly. Does anybody know the cause of this problem and also how to solve this issue? Any kind of help would be appreciated.

Hi,

As you updated your operating system, the settings have returned to default. For a few Nikon cameras you need to set the USB connection to MTP/PTP mode instead of USB mass storage mode. This is a very important step for Nikon D40 and D70 cameras. Nikon D90 doesn’t have the select option so it directly goes into MTP/PTP mode.

Nikontrol has a few bugs and it doesn’t support all cameras yet. So see the list of cameras supported in the drop down list.
