Hi there everyone, I have heard that a remote connectivity app called PCI Geomatica 2012 has been recently released. I am thinking about installing it to my iPad as I have heard it to be quite useful. Is there anyone who can give me a reliable answer on how user friendly and useful it is? Is it going to be compatible for my iPad 2?

The PCI Geometric software specifications are either a Linux or Windows OS, and the hardware specifications being a processor of 2.2 GHZ or more with multiple core processors. A lesser processor will page memory to hard disk thus result in low performance. It also requires memory of at least 2 GB.
Thus i do not think it is compatible with your iPad 2 whose specifications are; memory of 512mb, processor of 1GHZ even though on a Duo core platform, and an OS IOS 5.1.1.PCI Geometrica is useful in processing earthly observation data, geometrically correcting the produced images and also optical satellite imagery analysis.Â
