Hello,

I have too many passwords and log-ons to remember. I've seen sites that can manage them for me; how do I know they will protect my data? Can anyone give me a site that can manage my passwords and not compromise my security? What other options do I have?

I know there are a lot of companies, websites and software that you get and use. But If all you want from those is just to keep all your usernames and password in one place where you can access them anywhere as long as you have internet. Even just a 3G from your phone or a plan. I will recommend for you to save all your usernames and password in google drive. Google has a lot of security and will never leek any of your data.

Hey there!

The best way to remember your passwords and log one is to make it all the same so that you will not forget it. You should refrain from making different usernames and log on, because there are situations that you will hardly remember it. You can also put it in Google drive or through your cell phones.

We are in the same situation. I, too, have too many usernames and passwords to remember that I used on different websites. Remembering the password is actually not a problem because most browsers allow you to save them on the browser itself. Like with Google Chrome and Opera, you just need to log in the browser to your account to sync all usernames and passwords you used.

For Google Chrome, you just need to log in the browser with your Google account or Gmail account and everything will be synced to your Google account. For Opera, you need to create an Opera Account. Visit the link and create an account. Once your account is created, log in the Opera browser to that account you created and everything will be synced.

Mozilla Firefox now, allows you to save your online credentials. Start Mozilla Firefox then in the address bar, type the following command and then hit Enter:

about:preferences

Next, click “Sync” on the left pane. Here, create an account if you don’t have one yet and turn on syncing. These are the online methods of storing your online credentials. If you want an option that will allow you to save your credentials offline or directly on your computer, you can download KeePass Password Safe.

I use this personally to store my online credentials.
