Recovery created on USB, giving error 1005 upon using it.

I recently changed the hard disk on my HP Pavilion dv6 laptop as I needed more space. I created a recovery on an HP USB that has 16 GB storage space. I am trying to run the recovery but it gives an error 1005. I have tested my hard disk as well as the USB disk for the errors and have run memory tests on both of them. Tests came out good. What can be the problem? How can I succesfully run the recovery? Please help.

Hello Philip P Rivera,  if the memory test is good, Then defiantly there is a problem with your USB. I think there is a virus in your USB which is responsible for this error. You should scan your USB with any good antivirus and then i am sure it will defiantly work .
