Recover a missing/misplaced DVR password

Hi all,

What do you do when you loose a DVR password? The digital video recorder in question is used with a video surveillance system. Is there a way to configure DVR even without having the password? Or what other options do I have?

Hello Lloyd S Lebron,

If you have forgotten your password you can reset it by pressing down the "UP" and "2" buttons together.

It usually takes 10 – 20 seconds to reset the password so make sure you wait long enough.  You password should now be set to default, which is "000000".
