Recover memory from USB stick

I broke my USB stick and have recently received it back from the data recovery company I had sent it to. They did format it into FAT32, but I cannot plug in the USB stick without it prompting me that it will erase all the memory if I make it a memory device. I need to know what to do in order to get the memory back onto my Xbox since I have the data on my laptop. Any suggestions?

I think it is fine if you will allow your Xbox to format your USB flash drive and make it a memory device. Though your USB flash drive is already formatted with FAT32 file system which is the supported file system for Xbox 360, maybe your Xbox needs to format it again because it is not yet configured for use on Xbox.

Since you said the files on your USB flash drive are already saved on your laptop, you can now allow your Xbox to format your USB flash drive and use it as a memory device. The minimum capacity of a USB flash drive so that it can be used as a memory device on Xbox is 1 GB.

It should also be formatted with the Windows FAT32 file system. It doesn’t support the formats used on Linux and Mac PC.
