Hello,

Whenever I try to create and generate a Crystal Report, I get this error below.

I am using a new PC with a newly installed Crystal Report 10.

Do you think reinstalling Crystal Report will solve it?

Any take on this?  Or, is it the PC?

Please help.

Sometimes this kind of error is just a fluke and can be fixed by rebooting the system. Try restarting your computer then try it again. If the error happens again, try uninstalling Crystal Reports 10 from your machine.

After removing it, check your computer for any possible errors. Use a disk utility application to check the system. For a much thorough diagnostics on the system, use a disk utility application like Norton SystemWorks or PC Tools Performance Toolkit.

These are great tools for a much deeper scanning on your system. After checking your system, install the application again. This will fix any corrupted files in the installation and will restore its settings back to default.

Try it again after reinstalling it. This version of Crystal Reports is compatible with Windows 2000 Service Pack 4, Windows XP, and later Windows versions. If you still encounter the same error, try upgrading your current version of Crystal Reports to the latest release.
