Received an unexpected authentication failure.

I had a recent upgrade of my MAC machine. I have it upgraded to Snow leopard OS X 10.6. I am trying to connect to the Server admin after the upgrade and receive an error message.

I usually manage most of the machines with the Admin server help, and now I am not able to do the basic connection.

Received an unexpected authentication failure. This may be caused by trying to connect to a server prior to version 10.5.8 If this is the case, please install the latest update of Mac OS X Server software on ‘server2.local.’ and try to connect again

Any help is appreciated.
