Received an Email Without My Name in any of the Recipients Field

Recently I received some messages that do not have my name in the To, Cc or Bcc fields. There is a small icon to the right of the subject which, apparently, is a relationship of some sort. A check shows my name, properties, and "track" my e-mail lists. Can anyone tell me how this happened and why?

Hi Hudson,

If you do not see your email address on the To or CC field, yet you receive the email, most likely your email address is listed on the BCC field. You would really not be able to see your email address if that is the case. Email address recipients can only be seen by the person who sends the email. It will be hidden from the one’s receiving the email.

You can test it by putting a separate email address on the BCC field and your main address on the CC or To field. You would see that you did receive the email but could not see the BCC field.
